Installed 11.1.2.1 Disclosure Management on client workstation running Windows 7.

Office 2010
.NET Framework 3.5

Successfully installed Smart View and can create a Shared Connection Provider to Essbase

Extensions grayed out in both Excel and Word.
When going to Options and trying to enable Extensions receive the following error:

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:





When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
Cause

The cause of this issue has to do with how the installation was handled.

Solution

Take the following steps to resolve.

1. Install the correct version of .NET 2.0 or 3.5

2. On the client machine uninstall both Smart View client and Disclosure Management client via Add/Remove Programs.

3. Go to START -> RUN and type regedit to open the registry. Backup the registry, then delete any keys located under HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> SOFTWARE -> HYPERION SOLUTIONS and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> ORACLE.

4. Install Smart View client

5. Install Disclosure Management client

6. Then created connection providers in Smart View

7. In Smart View -> Options -> Extensions check that Disclosure Management is listed and enabled.

8. On Disclosure Management tab connect and login
