Symptoms

When submitting concurrent requests they are taking a long time to start running pahse , they remain in the pending normal status for a long time before running to completion.

Changes

No specific changes , Most likely a fresh installation.
Cause

The cause of this problem has been identified as a large number of processes has been defined for the standard manager or a large sleep time assigned .
Solution

Verify the number of Processes and Sleep seconds assigned to the Standard Manager :

a- As System Administrator navigate to :

Concurrent > Managers >>Define, then query the Standard Manager, select Workshifts

b- Adjust the number of processes and the sleep seconds accordingly.

This will depend on the business needs and performance you require.

Note:

If you defined for example 10 processes, and specified a sleep time of 3, this means that each of these 10 processes will verify every 3 seconds if there is anything to process.
